The Crockettis split into two main areas – the main gathering area on the right, and the living quarters on the left. When you walk in through the front door of our model in McKinney, you pass through a longer foyer and into the family room. Two large picture windows look out onto a covered porch on the back. The porch is spacious enough to add some outdoor furniture, and is a great place to sit and enjoy the view of your land. The ceiling in the family room and porch can be vaulted, which helps them feel like part of the same space.
The family room is open to the dining area. This little nook gives you a bright and pleasant place to enjoy meals. A curved counter separates the family room and dining area from the kitchen. The counter has an eating bar, perfect for guests to have some coffee while they chat with their host. A walk-in pantry in the corner gives plenty of room for food storage, and the oversized utility room at the end of the kitchen makes housekeeping convenient.
Looking for a larger kitchen? We’re happy to make changes to suit your needs. One of our alternate kitchen layouts takes some space from the utility room and adds another entrance from the foyer.
